"Amber" finished the year as Top Canaan Bitch 2001 by picking up the following awards at championship shows:
5 Best Bitch, 5 Best of Opposite Sex and 8 Reserve Best Bitch. I am quite thrilled as I've only had "Amber" for 20 months. She came to me as a 4 year old when her first owners had to give her up when their new baby daughter was diagnosed with severe dog allergies. Her breeder had taken her back, but I was lucky in that Ellen allowed me to have "Amber". She was bred to Gvir Me Shaar Hagai At Anacan and in October 2000 she gave birth to our Lorianna Lucky Star, the Top Canaan Puppy for 2001.
"Amber" is a valued member of my household and a tremendous asset to the breed. We look forward to showing her some more in 2002 and breeding her once again.
