'Simi' was bred by Alison Byrne and Ivan Kaye out of their bitch 'Livvie' (Babrees Bat Benyas At Nizzana) sired by 'Remy' (Anacan Masterpiece) upon Ellen Minto's recommendation. I went to see 'Simi 'every week from the age of 4 weeks until I brought him home with me at the age of 12 weeks. From early on he won me over with his lovely temperament,
fabulous personality and great character which he has continued to delight everyone else with.
Since making his show ring debut in January 2002 'Simi' has been awarded many first placings,
numerous Best Puppy In Breed / AVNSC and several Puppy Group placings at Open Shows. At 8 months he attended his first Championship show at Manchester and was awarded 1st in Minor Puppy Dog by Dennis Coxall. At his first Championship Show with Breed Classes (Birmingham National) he was awarded
Best Puppy, Best Dog and BEST OF BREED whilst still only 10 months of age. The judge was
Albert Wight (who is judging BIS at Crufts 2003). Mary Deats awarded him Best Puppy In
Breed at Scottish Kennel Club championship show and at Southern Counties championship show Jeff Horswell awarded him Best Puppy in AVNSC Utility. Then on the 8th June at Whitsable & District Open Show 'Simi' wons Best AVNSC Utility and then a Group 4 in the Utility Group (not Puppy Group) under Mr David Matthews.
Not only has his show career taken off in a big way, he is also showing a lot of promise in
training for competative agility. Who knows what this wonderful boy will be getting up to next!
