Amitz was Best of Breed at the 2000 ICDCA national specialty for the third year in row, retiring the Laish B'nei Habitchon Memorial Challenge Trophy. He finished 2000 as AKC's #4 Canaan Dog and was in the top ten rankings for 1997, 1998, and 1999. He earned an Excellent rating at the World Show in Milan in June 2000. He won Best In Show at the Wisconsin Toy Fox Terrier Multi-Breed Show on July 10, 1999. He was Reserve Best In Show the following day. He has three wins of the five needed towards the UKC Grand Champion title.
